Scout & Maggie

Scout & Maggie is a buddy comedy. Kinda like Riggs and Murtaugh from Lethal Weapon, with 50% of the crazy and without guns. Or Lucy and Ethel, except in color and if Lucy had a secret military background that leads to questionable choices.

These aren’t your typical ladies. Maggie’s a free spirit, always up for an adventure, always up for trying a new career, religion, brunch spot. You name it. Maggie is the kind of friend who would help you rob a bank while telling you about her new idea and figure out later that it could be a little wrong (the idea, not the bank).

Scout likes hanging around Maggie and deals with the fiascos they frequently wander into. Scout would be the kind of woman you’d call when you wanted a capable sports buddy who would then punch you if you got too handsy. Don’t let her size fool you.

We’d like to tell you all about the episodes of Scout & Maggie, but then we heard Scout would hunt you down and kill you, so you’re gonna have to wait.

At Your Cervix
The documentary At Your Cervix explores the connection between the way medical and nursing students are taught pelvic exams and the reality that most women experience them as painful and not empowering.

At Your Cervix
breaks the silence around the unethical methods used by medical and nursing schools to teach students how to perform pelvic exams; the most egregious being on unconsenting, anaesthetized women. At the same time, the film highlights the Gynecological Teaching Associate (GTA) Program in New York City. Fuelled by the spirit of women?s health activism, the GTA program began over 30 years ago and it has been shown to be the most effective way to teach exams and is also the most ethical and empowering to women.
Stephanie is the co-producer of this film.  A trailer and more information is available at www.atyourcervixmovie.com
